Cairo: Local media suggest Dubai terminal operator DP World is the odds on favourite to win the contract to run a second container terminal at the Port of Sokhna. DP World already runs the first box facility there. Under the bidding terms for the second site the Egyptian state will take a 51% holding in the terminal. DP World has had a tough year at the Red Sea port, which has been hit by repeated strikes. [26/08/13]
