DVB poaches HSH’s head of shipping

DVB has poached HSH Nordbank’s top shipping executive. Ingmar Loges, 52, will join DVB’s global shipping management team as co-division head with effect from 15 April 2016. Loges will assume responsibility for DVB’s shipping finance business in the western hemisphere, encompassing Europe, the Nordic countries and the Americas. He will be based in DVB’s Amsterdam branch.

Prior to HSH, Loges was with UniCredit Bank.

Bart Veldhuizen, member of DVB Bank’s board of managing directors, commented:”Despite prevailing difficult conditions, the global shipping industry remains an attractive market for DVB where we want to further expand our prominent position and focused expertise. I am delighted that Ingmar Loges is joining DVB’s shipping management team: he is an internationally well-renowned expert who will further foster DVB’s balance of serving our clients’ needs and aspirations and the bank’s high risk awareness.”
