E.A. Technique wins EPCIC FSO contract

Kuala Lumpur: Malaysia’s E.A. Technique has announced that is received a letter of award for the provision of engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning of a FSO facility for a full field development project in the North Malay Basin.

The contract which has just been signed is valued at $191.8m, and is for a period of twenty months, with work having commenced on 22 December 2014.

E.A. Technique operates a fleet of oil and LPG tankers, floating storage units, and offshore support vessels. It also provides port marine services and engages in shipbuilding, repair and fabrication.

Grant Rowles

Grant spent nine years at Informa Group based in London, Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore. He gained strong management experience in publishing, conferences and awards schemes in the shipping and legal areas, working on a number of titles including Lloyd's List. In 2009 Grant joined Seatrade responsible for the commercial development of Seatrade’s Asia products. In 2012, with Sam Chambers, he co-founded Asia Shipping Media.
