EA Technique to secure RM1bn worth of contracts

Kuala Lumpur: Malaysian shipowner EA Technique expects to secure up to 70% of two shipping services contracts worth RM1bn from a major client this year, according to Datuk Hak Md Amin, vice chairman of the company.

He said the company has allocated $40m capital expenditure this year for that purpose.

“Upon completion of securing the contracts, we expect to get an additional total revenue of RM100m year-on-year. Our current projects in hand are worth RM1.3bn,” Amin said. [07/01/15
