Edda Wind seals funds for CSOV trio

Norwegian offshore wind service pure play Edda Wind has secured a green loan facility agreement for the pre-and postdelivery financing of three commissioning service operation vessels (CSOVs) under construction at Gondan shipyard in Spain.

The facility agreed with Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, Eksportfinansiering Norge and Sparebanken Vest, is for a minimum €100m ($107.3m) and up to €120m ($129m).

It has a term of six years from delivery and a blended profile of 12 and 15 years.

The Oslo-listed company backed by Østensjø, Wilhelmsen, John Fredriksen and Idan Ofer now has nine of the ten vessels in the fleet under long-term financing.
