Eidesvik Offshore ships out seismic vessel

Norwegian vessel owner and operator Eidesvik Offshore is pressing ahead with its seismic fleet divestment scheme.

The Oslo-listed company has offloaded the 1998-built Viking Vanquish to an undisclosed buyer, reducing its seismic vessel portfolio to three.

All of the seismic vessels were in layup during the quarter, and the remaining trio is also being held for sale, the Bømlo-based firm said.

Eidesvik estimated the 1993-built Viking Vision the 1998-built Veritas Viking and the 2002-built Vantage as worth NOK48.9m ($4.5m).
