Eidesvik scores extensions for subsea vessel pair

Norway’s Eidesvik has been awarded extensions for two of its subsea vessels, both currently working in the offshore wind sector.

Viking Neptun has been extended by Merkur Offshore until May 2019, with further options available. Merkur Offshore is an offshore wind farm located in the German zone of the North Sea.

Additionally, Siemens Gamesa has extended the charter of Acergy Viking for an additional year through to January 2021. It also has additional options.

“Meeting our clients operational expectations have resulted in these extensions and we look forward to continue delivering our high quality services to them,” commented Jan Fredrik Meling, CEO of Eidesvik.
