Emas Offshore takes two year option on Perisai Petroleum crewboats

Kuala Lumpur: Perisai Petroleum Teknologi has announced that subsidiary Intan Group has received notice from Emas Offshore to exercise a two year option on three vessels on bareboat charters.

The three vessels Sarah Gold, Sarah Jade and Bayu Peral are crewboats originally chartered in September 2012 on a three year charter. Under the extension, the charter rates will remain on the same terms earning the Intan Group around $3.65m over the two year deal which ends 31 August 2017.

Intan Group is a 51% subsidiary of Perisai, with the remaining stake owners by Emas Offshore subsidiary, Genesis Offshore Sdn Bhd.
