EMGS seismic project delayed

Offshore survey service provider Electromagnetic Geoservices (EMGS) has announced that a contract for a proprietary CSEM survey offshore Senegal and Mauritania has been postponed.

The company said the customer has decided to postpone the project based on the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The data acquisition was planned for March. All further mobilisation activities will be stopped immediately.

The company does not expect that it will be possible to find alternative work for the vessel to replace the delayed project.
