Endre Hermansen buys into Fred. Olsen Energy

Investor Endre Hermansen, the eldest son of the late shipowner and politician Folke Hermansen from Stavanger, has bought 408,530 shares in Fred. Olsen Energy, giving him a 0.61% stake in the rig company.

Folke Hermansen was the wealthiest man in Stavanger by the time he died in 2006 after developing the the Stavanger Steamship Company.

Last month the family-owned investment company Watrium, owned by the Wilhelmsen family and led by Anders Christopher Garmann Wilhelmsen, bought 800,000 shares in Fred. Olsen Energy.
