Ensco gets jackup rig extension from Engie

Offshore driller Ensco has been awarded a contract extension by Engie for jackup rig Ensco 101 operating offshore Netherlands.

The rig has was originally contracted from November 2016 through to mid-April 2017 but will now stay on with Engie until September 2017.

The day rate is in the mid-$70,000 range.
