Singapore: Singapore-headquartered Epic Gas, has announced that it has bareboat chartered in two vessels to add to its growing fleet.
The vessels are both 7,200cbm pressurised LPG carrier, from Kyokuyo Shipyard in Japan, and have been chartered in until 2022. Delivery of the two vessels is expected in March 2014 and June 2014 respectively.
Additionally, Epic has extended charters to 2018 on four more vessels it currently charters, two 3,500cbm pressurised LPG carriers and two 4,100cbm pressurised LPG carriers.
All six charters feature purchase options and fixed monthly charter rates throughout the term of the contract. Epic now has a fleet of 40 vessels including newbuildings. [04/03/14]
