Germany’s Ernst Russ Group has acquired 2007-built 700 teu geared containership Skogafoss in cooperation with a strategic partner.
The vessel was acquired from Briese Schiffahrts and has been operating on the North-Atlantic shipping routes. It will be delivered into a charter with the Iceland’s Eimskip.
Ernst Russ says the deal will generate constant revenues from operations and develops its position as an asset and investment holding company for maritime investments.
