Es Sider gears up for more oil exports

Cairo: Libya’s giant Waha oil field is back in operation. The eastern oil field can produce up to 160,000 barrels a day when fully up to speed. The oil is sent to Es Sider terminal, which restarted exports using stored oil last week after a year-long interruption. The latest boost to Libya’s oil capabilities means it should be pumping around 800,000 barrels a day, a big jump from just a month ago.  [26/08/14]
