Evalend in for trio of kamsarmax resales

Greece’s Evalend Shipping has picked up a trio of Chinese bulker resales.

Having been inspected by over ten interested parties, Jiangsu New Yangzijiang Shipbuilding proceeded with the resale of three 81,800 dwt kamsarmaxes originally ordered by Greece’s Allseas Marine. The names of the ships are Bright Seas, World Seas and Inspiring Seas.

Brokers report Evalend has paid $61.5m for the three ships which will be delivered next month.
