Taipei: Evergreen continues with its plans to expand via chartering new large boxships. The Taipei line has revealed plans to take 10 more 14,000 teu ships on charter from Costamare and Shoei Kisen Kaisha for delivery in 2016 and 2017. Evergreen stressed in a release the new ships were replacement tonnage, not adding to its overall capacity, something the line has been very vocal about in recent months. [13/01/14]
