Singapore: Offshore service provider Ezion Holdings has announced that it has secured a contract for one of its service rigs and received a letter of intent for another, the combined contracts valued at over $268m.
The contract is for a seven year charter of a service rig, to support a European oil major in the North Sea. The rig should be deployed and working by the second quarter of 2015, and will net Ezion $122.6m.
The letter of intent for a 5 year charter with extension options, and is to provide a service rig to a Southeast Asian based national oil company. The rig is scheduled to be deployed and working by the third quarter of 2016, with the contract valued at $146m. [15/07/14]
