Ezra founder returning as chairman

The founder of Singaporean offshore services provider Ezra Holdings is making a comeback.

Lee Kian Soo will become chairman again after its current non-executive chairman Koh Poh Tiong steps down on February 1 next year, it was announced yesterday. Lee is the father of the current ceo, Lionel Lee.

Ezra also announced yesterday shareholder approval for a 50:50 subsea joint venture with Japan’s Chiyoda Corporation.

Chiyoda will buy into Ezra’s subsea services business, EMAS AMC, to form EMAS Chiyoda Subsea.
