Ezra lands $65m in new contracts as profits soar

Singapore: Ezra Holdings today announced that its subsea services division, EMAS AMC, has secured contracts, including options, for projects in the Gulf of Mexico and West Africa.

The contracts, worth more than US$65 million, will see EMAS AMC introduce subsea construction vessel Lewek Falcon into the Gulf of Mexico while the West Africa contract extends an existing general service agreement with ExxonMobil through to mid-2014.

The contracts come as Ezra announced a 62% increase in net attributable profit to US$65.0 million for this financial year, driven primarily by EMAS AMC, which trebled its turnover to US$551.6 million. [25/10/12]
