According to Alphaliner, Russia’s Far Eastern Shipping Company (FESCO) has bought the 16-year-old 822 teu Francop from German owner Reederei Bartels at an undisclosed price. The ship has been renamed FESCO Moneron, under Russian flag.

The ice-class ship will work domestic routes and joins sister ship Fesco Magadan, which the Russian liner bought in the spring from German owner Danz und Tietjens Schiffahrtsgruppe.
