Fincantieri and Huarun Dadong team up for ship repair

Italian shipbuilding and ship repair group Fincantieri and China’s Huarun Dadong Dockyard have signed in Shanghai an exclusive cooperation agreement in the field of ship repair and conversions aimed at serving vessels (mainly cruise ships) based in China.

On official statement from Fincantieri says that the understanding includes the development of technical skills, project management, and logistics procedures.

The pairing “will offer fundamental support to the emerging Chinese cruise sector and to the main foreign cruise companies which will operate in the local market,” the Italian company said in a release.

China is the fastest growing cruise market in the world.
