First phase of the Adabiya port development complete

Cairo: Major General Hassan Fallah, head of the Red Sea Ports Authority, revealed that the first phase of the Adabiya Port development is finished, at a cost of 110 million Egyptian Pounds. 
 
He added, that the development work in Adabiya port, which was implemented by the Arab Contractors company, includes the construction of a 3 km long arterial road inside the port, to regulate the entry and exit of trucks laden with goods, as well as the establishment of modern electronic gates, in the framework of developing the port system.
 
Fallah explained that the first quarter of next year will see the completion of the second phase of Adabiya port development project at a cost of 70 million Egyptian pounds, a phase that includes the establishment of new arenas and a service area for trucks laden with goods. [14/10/13]
