Former CSCL president appointed Coscocs North America head

China Cosco Shipping Group (Coscocs), the new shipping conglomerate in China formed after the merger of Cosco Group and China Shipping Group, has appointed Zhang Guofa, former president of China Shipping Container Lines (CSCL) and former general manager of China Shipping Group, as the president of Coscocs (North America).

Coscocs (North America) is made up of Cosco and China Shipping’s operations in the Americas.

Zhang joined China Shipping Group in 2004 and had served many roles in the group. He resigned in March during the restructuring process of the group.
