Former Shell CEO to chair PSA

Terminal operator PSA International has installed the former head of Royal Dutch Shell as its new group chairman.

Peter Voser steps up today from deputy chairman to take ove the role held by Fock Siew Wah for the last 13 years.

Voser, a Swiss national, served as CEO at Shell from 2009 to 2013. He currently serves on the board of ABB, IBM and Temasek among others.

“PSA is already a brand name in the ports and shipping circles and it is my hope that PSA will achieve a strong standing in the sphere of supply chain orchestration as well,” Voser said on his appointment with the ports giant.

Starting out with the Informa Group in 2000 in Hong Kong, Sam Chambers became editor of Maritime Asia magazine as well as East Asia Editor for the world’s oldest newspaper, Lloyd’s List.
