Formosa Plastics sells another handy tanker

Taiwanese conglomerate Formosa Plastics has shaved another handysize tanker from its fleet.
So far this year the active outfit has let go of a tanker  for each month of 2019 and September is no different. This week it sold the nine-year-old, 46,829 dwt Chinese-built FPMC 18 to compatriot Winson Group for $11m.
Simultaneously to selling a slew of handysize tankers, Formosa Plastics has taken delivery of four similar sized tankers this year while two more will be delivered next year, leaving Formosa  with 15 ships in the this segment.
