Fortune Ocean Shipping logger sale falls through

Chinese bulker owner Fortune Ocean Shipping has had a deal fall through to sell four 2015-built 34,400 dwt handysize bulkers in an en bloc deal.

Brokers are once again circulating the Xing Jing Hai, Xing Ning Hai, Xing Yuan Hai and Xing Zhi Hai for sale.

The Chinese company was said to have sold the four Namura-built vessels to undisclosed Greek interests for around $18.5m each in November.

Fortune Ocean currently operates a fleet of 26 bulkers, with another six panamax newbuildings on order at Tianjin Xingang Shipbuilding. It recently sold panamax bulkers Xing Xiang Hai and Xing De Hai to CDB Leasing in a financial leasing arrangement.
