Singapore: The man tasked with spearheading Carnival’s cruise ambitions in Asia has stepped down. Cruise veteran Pier Luigi Foschi, who has been with Carnival since 1997, has stepped down from the Carnival board as well as relinquishing his titles as chairman of Costa Crociere and chairman and ceo of Carnival Asia.
Foschi had been in Singapore since September 2012 heading up Carnival Asia. No immediate replacement has been announced for Foschi’s position in Asia. [08/01/14]
