Fredriksen takes $66m suezmax resale

Brokers Intermodal report in their latest weekly report that John Fredriksen’s Frontline has been in resales mode, bagging a Korean suezmax.

Frontline has reportedly paid Active Shipping $66m for a 158,400 dwt tanker, Nordic Breeze, due for delivery next year from Hyundai Samho. VesselsValue lists current suezmax newbuild prices at $65m.

Founded in 1994, Singapore-based Active has seven ships in its fleet, a mix of bulkers and tankers.
