Fuchuan Investment orders wind farm service platform at Mawei Shipbuilding

Fujian Offshore Wind Farm Service Company, a subsidiary of state-run Fuchuan Investment, has placed an order at Mawei Shipbuilding for the construction of a wind farm service platform.

The self-elevating platform, which will be used for maintainence and repair services at offshore wind farms, is scheduled for delivery in the first half of 2020.

Fuchuan Investment, the investment unit of Fujian Shipbuilding Industry, entered into the offshore wind farm service market last year and ordered a service operations vessel at Mawei Shipbuilding in September 2017.
