Fuel storage depot under construction at Salalah

Muscat: A large new fuel storage facility will be built at Oman’s Salalah Port. The project, undertaken by Mina Petroleum, should be up and running next year, initially catering to naval vessels and then all commercial traffic.

The Dubai-based group is investing around $75m in the construction of a 230,000 cu m storage depot with nine large fuel storage tanks connected to the port’s new liquid jetty via a pipeline network and a series of pump stations.  [21/08/14]
