Fugitive boss of CS Marine arrested after three years

Dalian: Xu Jiandong, former general manager of CS Marine, a Shanghai-based ship design firm, has been arrested by police authorities after spending three year’s on the run overseas.

Xu was found offering several bribes to Ma Xingcai, former vice general manager of Shandong Penglai Bohai Shipyard, following Ma’s arrest in July 2012. He fled to Canada to avoid the criminal charges.

The police department has been pursuing Xu for the past three years and Xu finally turned himself in after been persuaded by the police.

Xu will be charged by the court soon.
