Fugro secures ROV contract from Global Marine Group

Offshore service provider Fugro has secured a long-term contract for two remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) with Global Marine Group (GMG) to support the latter’s offshore vessel operations.

As part of the contract, the company will provide two Fugro core vehicles (FCVs) support GMG’s newly chartered offshore vessel Normand Clipper across a range of operations, with primary focus on subsea cable-laying for the offshore utilities and renewables markets.

“We are pleased to have been awarded this contract by Global Marine Group and look forward to supporting their remote operations on the Normand Clipper,” said Alastair McKie, director of positioning and construction support Europe at Fugro.
