Fujian Guohang Ocean Shipping to enter tanker sector

Fujian Guohang Ocean Shipping, a company mainly operates dry bulk shipping business, has announced that the board has approved a proposal to establish a oil shipping arm in Tianjin.

The company will invest RMB30m ($4.7m) in the oil shipping arm, which will be registered in Tianjin Dongjiang Bonded Area.

Fujian Guohang reported a net loss of RMB134m ($21m) for the first half of 2015. The company attributed to loss to decline in ship charter business and reduction of capacity.
