Singapore: Full details of our online China cruise survey are available from today. The poll, timed to coincide with the opening day of the UBM-organised Cruise Shipping Asia-Pacific held in Singapore, shows that both the Chinese and international cruiselines have much to do to nurture the industry in the People’s Republic.
“Despite the clear enormous potential for the Chinese cruise market, what our survey shows is that there is still much to do whether it is on infrastructure, regulations, expertise or human resources,” commented editorial director Sam Chambers.
Hong Kong beat out Shanghai to win the crown of best cruise facilities in China. Xiamen and Sanya were in third and fourth position.
