Los Angeles: More Zim containerships have been blocked from offloading cargo at ports across the US West Coast in protests against Israel’s actions in Gaza. The latest action has taken place at the ports of Long Beach and Tacoma against a pair of Zim ships and follows on from a protest against the Zim Piraeus that saw that ship delay its departure from Oakland by four days last week.
Further protests against Zim ships are planned in Seattle plus in Europe at Dublin and Valencia. [25/08/14]
