Gazprom mulls Egyptian diesel shipments

Cairo: Eng Tariq Barqatawi, first undersecretary at the ministry of petroleum for exploration and conventions, said that Gazprom has not finished studying the possibility to provide Egypt with quantities of diesel fuel as the Russian firm is still studying the size of tankers needed.

The aim is to take the fuel via the petroleum products pipeline from Russia to Serbia and then onto product tankers to Egypt.  [13/05/13]
