Oslo: GC Rieber Shipping has chartered out multipurpose subsea construction vessel Polar King (4,100dwt, built 2011) to DOF Subsea for a fixed period of 100 days.
The time charter contract will commence in April and includes options for up to five additional months.
Polar King is equipped with a 150 ton offshore crane, has accommodation for 112, and a deck space of 960 sqm. Last month it underwent upgrade works at Noryards, having returned from Technocean Subsea where it has been on charter since delivery in April 2011.
GC Rieber Shipping has a fleet of 13 subsea, ice/support and marine seismic vessels, of which 10 are owned.
