GC Rieber Shipping secures CSV charter from Senvion

GC Rieber Shipping has announced that it has entered into a time charter agreement with Senvion for the construction support vessel Polar Queen for a fixed period of 7 months with options to extend by up to 3 months. The charter will commence in spring 2017.

The Polar Queen will support turbine commission by Senvion at the Nordsee One wind farm in the German North Sea. The vessel will provide transfer of personnel and cargoes and will be fitted with a motion compensated gangway and boat landings to serve crew transfer vessels.
