GEM gets new president

Dubai: Khalifa Abdullah Al Rumaithi, head of investment portfolio management at International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC), owned by the Abu Dhabi government, has taken over the presidency at tanker operator Gulf Energy Maritime (GEM) from Saeed Abdullah Khoury, ceo of Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC).

Leadership at GEM is alternated every three years between IPIC and ENOC. Khoury will remain a member of the board at GEM.  [16/05/13]
