Gemadept Shipping snaps up feedermax from Tsurumi Kisen

Gemadept Shipping, an affiliate company of Vietnam’s port and logistics group Gemadept Corporation, is said to have purchased the 2009-built feedermax boxship Sinar Bromo from Japanese owner Tsurumi Kisen.

According to a report by Alphaliner, the 1,054 teu vessel has been renamed Pride Pacific under Vietnamese flag.

Last year, Gemadept acquired Sinar Bromo’s sister vessel Sinar Buton and renamed it Green Pacific.

Gemadept Shipping currently operates a fleet of four feeder boxships ranging from 700 teu to 1,200 teu.
