Glomar Offshore buys Bourbon MPSV pair

Dutch offshore support vessel operator Glomar Offshore acquired a pair of multipurpose platform supply vessels, the 2008-built Bourbon Arethuse and the 2009-built Bourbon Amilcar, from Bourbon Offshore.

The two Bharati-built vessels, which are used as subsea support vessels, will be renamed Glomar Worker and Glomar Supporter.

The vessels will undergo upgrades at Glomar’s yard in Gdynia, Poland and will be used to serve the company’s clients in the North Sea and Baltic on subsea and survey projects.

Glomar did not disclose a price for the acquisition. VesselsValue puts a market value of around $710k on the Bourbon Arethuse and $1.45m on the Bourbon Amilcar.
