Glomar Offshore fixes standby vessel

Dutch offshore support vessel operator Glomar Offshore has fixed its 2012-built standby vessel Glomar Linde to Rederij Groen.

The vessel will be operating outside Europe for a period of 12 to 24 months performing seismic guard and chase duties.

Klaas Weij, CEO of Glomar, commented: “This repositioning, outside of our ‘back yard’ operations in the North Sea, signifies our worldwide capabilities and global approach”.

The vessel departed the North Sea last week to head to the project location.
