Golden Energy Offshore orders PSV pair at Nantong Rainbow

Shanghai: Restis-backed Golden Energy Offshore has ordered two PX121H platform supply vessels at Nantong Rainbow Offshore and Engineering. The Ulstein designed ships will deliver in the first half of 2016. The deal comes with options for two more.

The vessels of the PX121H design are customised with an extra deck. They have an overall length of 83.4 m and a beam of 18 m and a deadweight of 4,000 tonnes.

 “We are glad to announce this contract with Golden Energy Offshore, who is a new customer to us. The PX121 design has become very sought-after in a short period of time, and including these vessels, a total of 24 vessels for seven different ship-owners have been contracted,” said Gunvor Ulstein, ceo of Ulstein Group.  [09/04/14]
