Dalian: Greek owner Golden Union has returned to AVIC Weihai Shipyard to snap up three kamsarmax bulker options. The 81,200 dwt ships are due for delivery in 2016 and 2017. No price was disclosed. The options follow on from two firm orders made last December.
The ships are 229 m long and have a design draft of 12.2 m.
AVIC Weihai has now filled out its docks through to 2017. [21/04/14]
