Goldwin in for chemical tankers

Hong Kong tonnage supplier Goldwin Shipping has made a rare new order heading to a Chinese yard that was once on the brink of oblivion.

Goldwin has selected Nantong Xiangyu, which used to be known as Nantong Mingde before it ran into severe difficulties a couple of years ago, to order one firm plus three options of 38,800 dwt stainless steel chemical tankers. The firm unit will deliver in the second half of next year. No price has been identified.

As well as chemical tankers low profile Goldwin is active in dry bulk.
