Gotland takes d’Amico bulker pair for juice tanker conversion

Dublin-based d’Amico Dry, part of the Italian group d’Amico Società di Navigazione, has just sold to Sweden’s Gotland Tankers a pair of modern handysize bulk carriers for a total price of $40m.

The ships are the 2016-built Cielo di Jari and the 2014-built Cielo di Tocopilla and both the units are set to be converted in orange juice tankers.

Gotland Tankers currently controls eight handysize tankers, two of which are in joint venture with Wisby Tankers.
