Brokers expect a string Jinhai Heavy built capes for sister firm Grand China Logistics will be sold in the weeks to come.
The large private owner – part of the HNA Group – started selling capes at the end of January, when it sold its oldest cape, a 16-year-old bulker to Fred Cheng’s Shinyo International.
The 2010-built Bulk Peace is also on the sales block as is the four year younger Bulk Success. The company is listed with nine Jinhai-built capes and sources tell Splash a total of seven of these ships are being marketed for sale.
