Great Eastern Shipping sells newbuild bulker

India’s Great Eastern Shipping has signed a contract to sell newbuilding kamsarmax bulk carrier Jag Aakash (81,600dwt), which is currently being built at Tsuneishi Heavy Industries (Cebu), in the Philippines.

The vessel is expected tol be delivered to the company by August/September, and then subsequently delivered to the new buyers.

The company currently operates a fleet of 30 vessels made up of 21 tankers and 9 bulk carriers, with an additional 3 bulk carriers and 1 product tanker currently on order.
