Green Marine wins Equinor offshore wind contract

Scottish energy support services firm Green Marine has been awarded a three-year contract to by Equinor for operations and maintenance work at the Dudgeon offshore wind farm.

Green Marine will utilise Damen-built vessel Green Storm for the contract.

Jason Schofield, managing director of Green Marine, commented: “We are extremely proud to have been awarded this long-term contract with such a valuable client as Equinor. It is credit to all the hard-working staff within Green Marine. This contract award is an important stepping-stone in the growth ambitions of the company, and we look forward to building on our close relationship with Equinor and expanding our services in the offshore wind industry.”

Grant spent nine years at Informa Group based in London, Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore. He gained strong management experience in publishing, conferences and awards schemes in the shipping and legal areas, working on a number of titles including Lloyd's List. In 2009 Grant joined Seatrade responsible for the commercial development of Seatrade’s Asia products. In 2012, with Sam Chambers, he co-founded Asia Shipping Media.
