GriegMaas takes another Celsius supramax

GriegMaas, a six-month old joint venture between Norway’s Grieg Star and Dutch firm Maas Capital, is linked to a fourth vessel buy in just six months.

The cash-rich outfit has snapped up the 2012-built supramax, GH Rough Habit, from Celsius Shipping for $16.5m. VesselsValue sets the market value for the ship at $16.28m. GriegMaas also took the sister ship, GH Frankel, last month for $16.9m.

Splash understands the joint venture is busy scouting for further supramax deals at the moment.
